The compliance specialist is responsible for analyzing and reporting legal or regulatory risks, violations, and deficiencies and for resolving any and all compliance concerns.
In order to succeed in this role, you must be able to examine and interpret company records, documents, and data, to identify possible concerns with regard to legal or regulatory compliance.
You will be required to review existing company policies and develop an internal compliance training plan. The plan will ensure that all employees are educated on all existing and emerging regulations and internal procedures. Subsequently, you will monitor the execution of all procedures, practices, and documentation to identify possible deficiencies or risks.
Report the status and progression towards full compliance to management on a regular basis.
Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a compliance officer role.
