Fusion Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing targeted alpha therapeutics to cure cancers. Using its proprietary Fast-Clear Linker Technology platform, Fusion attaches medical isotopes to targeting molecules creating novel, next-generation radiopharmaceuticals. In preclinical studies, the company has shown the ability to precisely target and effectively kill solid tumor cells while minimizing the impact to healthy tissue. Fusion's lead program, FPI-1434, is currently in Phase 1 development.

In March 2019, the Company completed an oversubscribed $105M series B financing that will be used to advance FPI-1434, and to initiate preclinical development on multiple agents. With a proprietary discovery platform, Fusion is actively in-licensing targeting molecules and forming strategic partnerships to expand its pipeline of cancer therapies. The Company has bold growth plans and is looking for an experienced and driven candidate to help build out the company's manufacturing function.


Fusion is seeking outstanding applicants for a Research Associate Biology to support ongoing and new initiatives. This position is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada


  • Design, perform, and report on in vitro bioassays, and related molecular and biochemical assays in a rapidly evolving research environment
  • Design and conduct therapeutic efficacy and biodistribution studies on radiopharmaceuticals in rodent models of cancer
  • Produce high quality and well documented data with strong attention to detail
  • Contribute to internal project teams through the setting and achieving scientific goals, communication of results, and solving multifaceted scientific challenges
  • Assist in the maintenance of biology laboratories, animal facilities, and equipment
  • Maintain laboratory records (MSDS, chemical, radioisotope, biohazard)
  • Other duties, as required


  • Ability to adapt to, perform, and develop unfamiliar methods in a rapidly evolving research environment
  • Verbal and written proficiency in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • Experience with the safe handling of radioactive and potentially biohazardous materials is an asset


  • M.Sc. with at least 2 years or B.Sc. with at least 5 years of post-graduate experience in Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Biochemistry or other related disciplines
  • Experience with general biochemical and cell biological methods (protein quantification, ELISA, SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting, UV/VIS spectroscopy, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry etc.)
  • Experience in designing and conducting various in vitro assays
  • Experience in working with rodents
