Job Description

Fusion is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing Manager of Print & Promotional Items to join our Print & Promotional Services team at our Topeka, KS satellite office location. This candidate will participate in dynamic and challenging projects to oversee our team of production and sales technicians, set standards and vision for the business unit, and work closely with leadership to develop departmental priorities. We are looking for an ambitious team player who is target driven and passionate about achieving results.

Position Description & Responsibilities:

The Print & Promotional Services team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the Print & Promotional Services team’s success, such as:

  • Establish vision, goals, and standards for the Print & Promotional Services business unit, and function with autonomy to achieve them
  • Manage the daily activities of the team of Production and Sales Technicians, who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
  • Motivate, train, mentor, and support the business unit by providing strategies and guidance for hitting sales targets and achieving success
  • Contributes to and oversees the ongoing research of:
    • industry trends and techniques
    • evolving markets, domestically and abroad
    • emerging product opportunities
  • Support departmental administrative efforts for multiple projects in the business unit
  • Coordinate with fulfillment centers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Oversee the inventory management of the Print & Promotional Services business unit
  • Manage departmental budgets, commission reports, and resource allocation
  • Ensure that the team's deadlines and deliverables are met in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with leadership to align departmental objectives and priorities to the company mission and goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business, Management, or a related degree
  • 7+ years of experience working in product sales or a related field
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage departmental operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Possess a can-do attitude and growth mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple tasks and projects, for yourself and the team
  • Strong time management, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience with managing departmental budgets and reporting for a sales team is preferred
  • Experience in the printing & promotional sales industry is preferred
  • Advanced certifications in Sales or Marketing courses
  • Desire to facilitate and participate in market research
  • Experience using Atlassian products is a plus

Additional Details:

  • This is an on-site, full-time, salaried position, located at our Topeka, Kansas office location. The normal hours of operation for this office are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
