Job Description
FurstStaffing is hiring a Bilingual Patient Registration Professional in Darlington, WI.

Hours: Monday -Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $16-$19 based on experience

Job Summary: Greet patients, assists, directs, and schedules patients and visitors. Responsible for basic administrative and office support. Assist the dentist(s), hygienist(s) and behavioral healthcare providers with clinical procedures.

Job Functions:
  • Welcomes, monitors visitor access and directs patients in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Assist patients with getting into the therapy/psychiatric services appointments as needed.
  • Maintains scheduling system and follows office scheduling procedures.
  • Answers incoming calls, makes calls as needed, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist dentists in providing direct patient care, including tending to patient comfort, including, examinations, restorations, endodontics, oral surgery, and fixed and removable prosthetics.
  • Accepts and records patient payments and obtain any 3rd party billing information such as Medicaid and private insurance. Provides necessary receipts.
  • Ability to identify and maintain confidential/HIPPA information.
  • Assure operations are disinfected and instruments are sterilized according to current CDC and OSHA guidelines.
Job Requirements:
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • COVID vaccination required.
  • Medical Secretary/Medical Administrative Specialist preferred.
  • Medical/dental/behavioral health terminology preferred.
  • 1-3 years of clerical or secretarial experience in a healthcare setting with strong medical/dental/ behavioral health vocabulary preferred.
  • Friendly, outgoing, good mannered, multi-tasker.
