As Funko continues to expand, the Strategic Initiatives team leads the evaluation and execution of M&A activities and strategic investments while also overseeing initiatives launched via organic investment or commercial partnership. The Director, Integration & Ops will work closely with our deal leads and senior leadership to drive end-to-end integration planning and execution related to M&A/investments and ops-related special projects related organic investment or commercial partnerships. The Director will plan integration strategies, realize and accelerate deal value, plan for an issue-free Day 1 experience and manage priorities across internal cross-functional teams. You will join a small, high-performing, fast-paced team to be part of defining and implementing best-in-class integration plans. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, get-things-done, professional who adapts quickly and earns credibility and trust interfacing with founders/executives of target companies, while coordinating with internal cross-functional leads on time/mission critical operational issues spanning product, technology, legal, finance, HR, facilities and other interdependent teams.

What You'll Do:
  • Support the strategic integration planning, due diligence and execution phases of M&A transactions that align to the business objectives
  • Drive core internal projects related to M&A deal integration planning and performance measurement
  • Spot and creatively solve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique to each deal
  • Mobilize core teams: Coordinate and project/task manage diligence efforts and integration priorities internally and with the management team of target companies
  • Continually refine best practices for integration consistent with Funko culture
  • Stay abreast of Funko company priorities and embody culture to support and advise target companies during integration
  • In collaboration with VP, Strategic Initiatives and cross-functional leads, scope Integration 'Playbook' inclusive of recurring internal processes and checkpoints related to live deals/projects/initiatives
  • Performance Monitoring: oversee KPI creation and performance monitoring and prepare periodic updates to senior management on tracking/milestones
  • Scope and lead Ops-related special projects in support of post-acquisition execution, organic investment and/or commercial partnerships
  • Some travel may be required to Everett, WA (HQ), San Diego and related to ongoing project/transaction work
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of direct experience in similar roles in the M&A integration and project management at an acquisitive company or within management consultin
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus
  • Strategy, product/technical and general ops experience a plus
  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other productivity tools necessary to perform your duties
  • Willing to 'roll up your sleeves' and lead/own the analysis and presentation creation
  • Ability to manage and lead cross-functional internal and external teams
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and ability to navigate ambiguity and multiple priorities
  • Passion and excitement for consumer and fan-centric businesses even if no direct experience
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to and interface with multiple levels of management including senior executives throughout the Company as well as with potential external partner companies
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
