Job Description
Free the Slaves is seeking a Graphic Design Consultant for the design and layout of a research report. The Consultant will be responsible for the creation of visually dynamic graphics and their layout in the report. The Consultant will meet with the FTS team prior to the start of the work as well as subsequently to brainstorm ideas and discuss the progress made. This consultancy is expected to last no more than a month.

Job Description
Free the Slaves is seeking a Graphic Design Consultant for the design and layout of a research report. The Consultant will be responsible for the creation of visually dynamic graphics and their layout in the report. The Consultant will meet with the FTS team prior to the start of the work as well as subsequently to brainstorm ideas and discuss the progress made. This consultancy is expected to last no more than a month.
The Consultant must be willing to:
- Design and share a Work Plan consisting of activities and timelines of completion;
- Present a proposed graphic design for a ~60-page report that abides by FTS' brand;
- Meet with the FTS team midway through the consultancy;
- Share the final report with the FTS team for feedback (in PDF and editable version); and
- Make additional modifications if required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience, including working with documents over 50 pages.
- Be savvy in design software and packages.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Be well organized, self-motivated, reliable, and able to work well both independently.
- Demonstrate an ability to engage cross-culturally and collaborate with global staff at a professional level.
- Have a demonstrated history of interest and/or involvement in the anti-human trafficking or climate change movements.
- Be available to start in February and work full-time for a duration of no more than a month.
