Van Driver

The Franklin Public Schools, a Prek-12 district, is seeking a skilled, licensed and experienced substitute Van Driver to drive students with special needs to and from school. This position is in town driving. We are willing to train and assist in obtaining a 7D license.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

-Safely transport students to and from school.-Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and sanitize vehicle between runs-Operate vehicle in accordance with all Federal and State traffic laws
-Complete weekly documentation and record keeping as required by the district

Qualifications:
-Massachusetts 7D license
-Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in English with students, parents, teachers, and Van Pool staff
-Must enjoy working with children, and always possess the ability to show patience and empathy
-Experience operating a van for students or adults with special needs
