The job objectives include, but are not limited to:
The employee will perform his/her duties, complying with health and safety laws, using modern findings, applying theoretical insights in practical contexts, using state-of–the-art equipment and adhering to the principles of profitability.
Ensure that the corporate and departmental goals derived from the corporate strategy are achieved.
- Assist with HR activities to support new hiring in Anderson’s growth.
Procure the specified qualities and quantities of goods and/or services (indirect material) in a timely manner and at the most favorable conditions.
Improve the cost structure of the company and the products.
Maintain employee information in the employee database.
Assist with conducting employees training.
Assist with policies and procedures
- Manage the training program for all areas of the Anderson facility.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and conduct new employee onboarding and orientation
Delivery of training on group and individual levels.
Administration of third-party training
Tracking training activities for audit purposes
Administration of employee performance review system.
Active in employee retention and development processes
Assist with delivery of employee events and recognition efforts.
In the event of discovering a deviation from specification, the employee has the authority to escalate the issue through the notification procedure, up to and including stopping production and activating the emergency action plan, if applicable.
The ideal candidate will have at minimum the following:
- Prior automotive manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team or independently on a regular basis.
- Focus on safety, quality, and productivity – in that order.
- Detailed and precise approach to work.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Self-motivation; ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Starting pay will be commensurate with experience. This position is considered salaried non-exempt ranging from $50,000 to $55,000 per a year. This opportunity is for First Shift (Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). The candidate must be available to train on off shifts.
