Our client, one of America's fastest growing retail suppliers of electricity and natural gas, is seeking motivated sales reps to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing business relationships with electricity and natural gas customers. Will identify prospects and profitably sell electricity and natural gas to small, medium, and large sized commercial and residential customers.
The call center sales representative is responsible for working with the call center management team to handle end-to-end sales process including: prospecting, lead generation, business to business calling, residential inbound, negotiations, writing up customer contracts and checking status'.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Continuously seek new customers to foster business development
Maintain regular and professional interaction with both existing customers and fellow employees
Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
Assists customers in making selections by building customer confidence; offering professional suggestions and sound opinions
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Work with management team to promote collaborative solution oriented relationships with new and existing customers
Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accurately
Outbound call center environment
Previous call center experience
High School diploma or GED
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Punctuality and regular meeting attendance are required
Previous sales experience
Previous experience in energy sales preferred
Bilingual preferred, but not required
Strong customer focus and proven ability to build rapport by anticipating customer needs and providing solutions to their problems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must be able to work M-F between the hours of 7:00 am-8:00 pm.
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Salary: $10.00 to $13.50 /hour plus commission
