The Application Engineer will provide customers with world class support in both technical and commercial information. Provide special quotes for brand specific parts and products and providing practical solutions to field issues. Understand valve applications for specific industry sectors such as Oil and Gas, Mining, and Power. Apply sound engineering practices to successfully gain customer trust and win orders over the competition.

Leadership & Direction from:
Commercial Operations Manager & Director of Operations
Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, quality, product management, and finance to resolve customer issues.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Provide technically sound and commercially accurate quotations to all Channel Partners and End User customers.
Support design & manufacturing engineers regarding special product requests
Communicate with internal/external customers daily with regard to order status and expedite requests.
Understanding of the Manufacturing and Assembling of Valves and Parts
Support new product development with input, review and technical feedback based on real world experience and customer feedback.
Support manufacturing quality by cataloging customer issues and working with design and manufacturing engineers to implement corrective actions
Experience in Ball Valves and Severe Service Applications.
Microsoft Office Applications Experience (i.e.: Projects, Excel, Word, etc.)
Must be able to work in a challenging team environment and have the ability to set priorities.
Must be detail oriented and have good analytical abilities as well as good communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in an Application Engineering role in a valve organization.
