We are currently looking for someone with that will work with end-users, has a technical background, and is process and sales oriented. You will be working under the leadership of a Sr. Sales Engineer using your technical knowledge to support key sales efforts with our manufacturer representative agencies, distribution partners, and end-users and proactively set and meet stretch goals.
Territory to St. Louis, MO, Omaha, NE and Des Moines, IA.
Actively promote products and solutions and achieve sales quota by building rapport, providing training and support, and making end user calls with representative agencies and distribution account managers.
Proactively expand product portfolio sales at existing and potential end-user customers through promoting new product introductions, seminars, training, and Fluke exposure events.
Work under the direction of the Sr. Sales Engineer to drive the activities and performance of assigned representative agencies.
Work under the direction of the Sr. Sales Engineer to drive the activities and performance of distributors; including merchandising, product training, branch level tactics, and co-targeting of end users.
Become knowledgeable of competitive products and industry standards.
Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to prepare responses to proposals, produce demos, training, and address end-user customer requirements.
Effectively use company resources, including the use of our customer relationship management system (CRM).
Entertain distributors and end users (within company guidelines) in order to help build lasting relationships.
Maintain records and develop reports to track area activity.
Provide monthly larger order forecasts to assigned manager.
Degree preferred. A BS or equivalent four-year degree preferred, specifically within an engineering field or a closely related technical focus strongly preferred.
This is an entry level position, 3 years or less of experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Ability to operate independently after initial training period under predetermined goals and to work in fast-paced changing environment, requiring creativity and independent judgment.
