Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support the implementation of communication plans to increase brand awareness and recognition. Assist with corporate communications activities including external and internal communication and public relations.
  • Manage Forrester’s social media including content creation, posting, and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain effective working partnerships (with internal and external customers, peers, and partners) to actively engage all parties in the Marketing/Public Relations process.
  • Assist with Forrester’s involvement in various networking and industry associations, and community partners to leverage relationships to create public relations opportunities.
  • Assist in the implementation of the annual advertising campaign.
  • Support and coordinate development, design, maintenance and content for marketing and promotional materials, corporate website, and email marketing campaigns
  • Perform statistical analysis on marketing efforts.
  • Provides strategic writing and editing support.
  • Manage photography including taking and editing project and event photos as well as collaborating with professional photographer(s). Maintain photography library.
  • Support the award submission process.
  • Visits jobsites frequently to learn about current projects and their nuances/challenges, gather project specific details that can be used during award submissions and project sheets, social media content and develop stronger relationships with the operations team.
  • Seeks opportunities to refresh marketing materials, create new graphics and demonstrate creativity in producing content.
  • Produces marketing materials and company graphics as required to support the branding of Forrester’s services, visibility, and reputation.
  • Support special events both internally and externally.
  • Ensures adequate inventory levels of all marketing materials and supplies.
  • Attend  occasional after hour events.
  • Assist with and support the efforts of the Marketing team, including proposal process. 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Marketing, English or related preferred.
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong writing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities within established priorities.
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be goal oriented and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to attend networking and corporate events during non-business hours 3-4 times per month
  • Experience with InDesign and the Adobe Suite of programs a plus
  • Experience with MailChimp and Hootsuite a plus
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Prezi preferred
