Requirement: Business Analyst

At Forge, we are building a professional services team to successfully support customer engagements across the world! To help grow and scale this business, we are looking for a self-directed Business Operations Analyst, with strong operational, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.

Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for working closely with senior leadership as a trusted advisor, providing data-driven insights on business metrics, administering end-to-end engagement project management, ensuring staff happiness and engagement, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve upon current processes and tools.

The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also be able to build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

Maturity, sound judgment, ability to listen, compassion, self-motivation, and leadership are essential to success in this role. A successful candidate must be able to roll up their sleeves, explore complex and unfamiliar tasks, dig in, and get the job done.

Key Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish baseline metrics and analytics, collaborate with the leadership team to track and report all key performance indicators against annual, quarterly, and monthly goals.
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and executive review documents that will drive business outcomes.
  • Opportunity Pipeline Management: Work with business development teams involved in proposing, selling, and forecasting new business.
  • Foster communication across teams and identify corporate improvements and process efficiencies.
  • Interact with vendors, and align products to corporate solutions
  • Able to operate autonomously in a lean, fast-paced organization with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written)

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must have professional experience with demonstrated effectiveness and success. This is an entry-level position one year of professional experience is preferred.
  2. A four (4) year degree from an accredited institution.
  3. Desired experience interfacing with a multitude of customers, stakeholders, vendors, and strangers as you navigate undefined projects.
  4. Extensive familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
  5. Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance.

Job: Full-time.

Location: Washington, DC local area. This is a full-time position, with work from home flexibility.

Salary Range: $60-70K
