Forge Forward is looking to hire an Engagement (Business) Consultant in the DC region. This is a hybrid position. This position requires a minimum of 2 years work experience analyzing client-focused change efforts to develop insights and senior advisory for a myriad of change efforts. Previous work experience and overall knowledge of the United States Department of Defense (DoD) needed. Specific experience or knowledge of Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Science & Technology (S&T) with DoD a must. Knowledge of Naval SYSCOMS a plus.
The consultant will be a member of the Forge Forward Rate of Change (RoC – change management) practice area and will work closely with clients to make informed business decisions. The consultant should have exceptional attention to detail, experience interfacing with senior leaders, and thrive in a fast paced, VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and sometimes Ambiguous) environment.
Will be responsible for serving as the subject matter expert on one or more related change management disciplines as well as lead multiple change effort tasks. Will work closely with Forge PM, client leads, Forge practice leads, and Forge Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to ensure performance to scope, schedule and cost while leveraging the (RoC) product and focus area across a suite of RoC solution sets and Forge client engagements. Must have the ability to facilitate the company’s data audit process with clients, assess effectiveness on efforts related to metrics and data visualization. Serve as the lead for development of dashboards and business intelligence solutions as well determine the effectiveness of new data source and gathering techniques.
Travel likely required monthly to/from Washington and/or other major cities throughout the U.S as required for corporate and/or client engagements.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management, Finance or Political Science. Advanced degree a plus. Must have experience or knowledge of Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Science & Technology (S&T) with DoD. Must be a US citizen who either currently holds a Secret clearance or can obtain one should it be required.
