Provide internal customer management services that contribute to company goals and objectives by providing prompt, courteous & professional communication to our customers & potential customers in the areas of quoting products, receiving and entering of orders accurately and efficiently while coordinating a team effort with our outside sales group.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Receive & process orders from customers and sales reps. accurately and efficiently into SAP.
Preparing product quotations efficiently and accurately in SAP.
Verify the customer has an approved, current account & if not, create one through our Finance dept.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records in SAP reflecting all potential customer requirements in order to ensure continued, effective customer service.
Coordinate tasks through C4C Customer Relationship Management software, working with sales to build extensive customer support database.
Upon notification from fabrication supervisors, promptly contact customer to advise of any delays/problems in completing and/or shipping order as requested; report conflicts that may damage customer relations to the Customer Service Manager/Quality Manager.
Facilitate the initiation of RGA's, reworks & installation billings.
Process customer rush requests.
Follow through to ensure product is shipped to customer on time.
Effectively communicate and cooperate with superiors and peers in a team effort to achieve company goals and objectives.
Become knowledgeable of Forbo's complete product range and pricing program as well as fabrication/production processes in order to provide more effective customer service.
Ability to source and obtain costs/lead times for Specialty Products items.
Provide needed back up for Receptionist position & CS Advanced - Level 2.
