Forbes Bros USA Inc. is currently seeking a Project Engineer (full-time, project based) to join our team in Casper, WY!
The Project Engineer will be working in the field alongside the Forbes Team on our Gateway Project in Casper, WY. They will assist in ensuring construction project activities comply with company and contract requirements and supports the overall project schedule by providing technical support for construction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
- Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager with management of overall project performance
- Review and manage project documents, drawings, permits and reports, and other records from the start to completion of construction activities
- Ensuring adherence to design drawings, specifications and approved work plans
- Identify potential stakeholder conflicts, and engineering, risks. Come up with solutions and initiate change to any conflict/risk identified. Manage the solutions
- Communicating project risks to the PM as they arise and assisting in the development of appropriate risk mitigation steps
- Contribute to the management of overall project performance
- Aids in ensuring that team goals, roles, protocols, and business relationships are consistent with the company's strategy
- Lead by example in an environment that fosters trust and will maintain personal accountability and will communicate effectively and constructively
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management and/or equivalent years of experience. Design or related field of education considered an asset
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work on project in Casper, WY, long hours, weekend and evenings
- Possess strong mathematical and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Applications (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project), and/or equivalent programs
- Strong written, oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities, with proven ability to take initiative
