What we’re looking for:
We’re currently hiring a Marketing and Communications Strategist. This position will partner with Director of Marketing to develop strategic messaging and communications content to increase brand awareness, interpret impact for various audiences, and advance systems change for racial, social, and food justice. The Communications Strategist helps Food Lifeline create narrative strategies that drive storytelling for social change, inspire engagement, and attract new and expanded investment from the community in our mission to end hunger in Western Washington.
Who You Are:
You care deeply about people experiencing hunger and hold them in the center of all that you do. You are a marketing and communications strategic leader who is ready to help shift our branding and messaging to track with our new strategic direction and bring awareness to our work for social, racial and food justice. . You are an expert in strategic communications, branding, messaging, storytelling and development. You’re a strong writer, a motivational and effective communicator, and a proven collaborator. You are known for your ability to think strategically and holistically yet also able to drive tactics and projects to fruition.
Most of all, you wake up in the morning eager to use your skills to build a movement to end hunger.
