Job Description

Summary: Responsible for using their knowledge of FWS services and the construction industry to connect and foster relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales. Duties include following up on leads, responding to incoming requests, taking calls from prospective customers, developing sales pitches, making cold calls, and maintaining sales documentation.

Experience

  • 2-5 years sales experience preferred
  • Construction / Utility Industry experience preferred

Sales Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish and achieve sales goals
  • Be knowledgeable about the services offered by FWS
  • Manage relationships with existing customers
  • Liaison and maintain communication with top customers
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Lead monthly sales meeting with team, executives
  • Pursue opportunities utilizing WBE certification, CCTV inspections, and Recycler Unit
  • Maintain contact list and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Attend tradeshows, conferences, golf outings, etc.
  • Participates in related associations (ISA)

Sales Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer contact database
  • Build a sales program that works best for FWS
  • Identify and target market expansion opportunities
  • Determine how to implement a CRM as needed
  • Review/understand/assist with pricing structure – help build consistency
  • Relationship/management with vendors for pricing, etc.
  • Assist with review of customer documents, project plans etc. as needed

Marketing

  • Manage website
  • Streamline marketing and enhance brand/image
  • Identify potential marketing opportunities

Other

  • Weekly, monthly department meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
  • FWS leadership activities
  • Understanding of company financials
  • Goal setting and action for future growth (assist CEO, EVP)
