The Job - Director of Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology bears primary responsibility for managing corporate IT resources, policies, and assets. In this leadership role, the Director will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to design and implement processes and policies to ensure the organization has the resources it needs to get the job done, work with technology partners and vendors, and work closely with the Office of Security and Privacy to implement tooling and processes to ensure business continuity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asset management, mobile device management, identity and access management solutions, and rapid machine deployment. Experience with GCP, AWS, or similar technologies are a plus. 


Fluid Truck’s primary technology stack is comprised of Apple devices (Mobile and Laptop) and Google Cloud Services and the successful candidate will have extensive experience working with these or similar technologies. In this role you will have the opportunity to build FluidTruck’s corporate IT assets and programs from the ground up, which is a unique opportunity to get it right from the start. Candidates interested in this role should have a combination of prior experience and the drive to hit the ground running and not be afraid to try something new, even if it may fail. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement IT Asset Management processes and tooling

  • Implement a Help Desk process and tooling

  • Work closely with Office of Security & Privacy to research and implement security and privacy tooling for Mobile Devices and Laptops

  • Take ownership of IAM and SSO

  • Regularly audit and report status to the CTO and Head of Security

  • Implement and maintain the corporate network and remote sites



Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience in IT Systems Management

  • At least 10 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise IT programs 

  • At least 3 years of experience managing small to medium sized IT teams 

  • Proven track record implementing MDM for Apple Devices

  • Proven track record implementing Asset Management and Rapid Deployment of Apple devices

  • Demonstrable experience developing and implementing business continuity plans

  • Experience designing and implementing corporate networks with remote sites
