Currently, we are seeking an Aerospace intern for our Aerospace Department. Position Purpose Seeking a mechanical engineering intern to work on various electromechanical related projects and documentation. These projects will include but not limited to designing fixtures and test equipment using SolidWorks, 3D printing parts, process improvements for manufacturing.

Essential Job Functions (primary duties and outputs of position) + Assists in the design of test equipment to meet the technical, schedule, budget and cost requirements + Using a 3D printer to print tooling + Assists in the creation of drawings, manufacturing processes and BOMs + Participates in writing formal test procedures, conducting qualification testing, analyzing test data and writing test reports + Supports manufacturing, troubleshoots equipment, and implement solutions. + Be involved in design review meetings + Process engineering change documents + Create prototype drawings + Run structural analysis simulations using SolidWorks Simulation software + Interface with purchasing + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + Computer literate with intermediate skills using Microsoft Office products + Responsible + Organized + Detail Oriented Safety + Follow safe work practices, participate in safety training as required, and report any unsafe condition or accident. Quality + Employees are responsible to understand and support the quality policy and the appropriate elements of the quality management system for their areas of work, reduce, eliminate, and prevent quality deficiencies including escapes.

+ Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality system. + All employees have the responsibility and authority to identify quality deficiencies, elevate any concerns for action within or related to our quality system and processes. Communication + Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

+ Maintain effective and constructive working relationships with others both internally and externally. Education/Work Experience Requirements + Currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering Physical/Travel Requirements Sitting 80% and computer work at least 80% of the time, standing, walking and bending 20%. Capable of lifting up 45lbs.
