Fleet Response is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Analytics Engineer.

Analytics Engineers are team members utilizing an agile development process. They are responsible for the creation, maintenance, and management of AI/ML models, ETL/ELT processes for data preparation, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis. Other responsibilities include working with internal business partners to gather requirements or help provide creative solutions to business problems.

Analytics Engineers must be able to adjust to constant business change; common types of changes include new requirements, evolving goals and strategies, and emerging technologies. Analytics Engineers require the ability to interact, develop, engineer, and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with all levels of Fleet Response staff.

Job Activities

• Ability to provide analytical insight to business users
• Creating advanced analytics models using machine learning techniques and MLOPS pipelines
• Works closely with architects to assure all systems are in line with Fleet Response IT’s long-term strategy
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers on best practices

Technical Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics
• Experience creating training data sets and training supervised ML models
• Experience with Python and data analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
• Knowledge of Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.
• Good communication skills are required as the candidate will work very closely with diverse teams such as Quality Engineering, DevSecOps, Business Development, and Architecture
• Knowledge of agile methodologies

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of Terraform and Azure Pipelines
• Experience with Message Queues such as Azure Event Hubs
• Experience with machine learning/artificial intelligence
