Medical Laboratory Technician
SUMMARY: this is a full-time position (40 hours a week) Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Collect blood and non-blood samples on all groups, pediatrics through geriatrics. Process all types of laboratory specimens including centrifuging, aliquoting, and proper storage of sample. Urinalysis, Clintek with ua, wet prep/KOH microscopic examinations. Hematology, Sysmex analyzer. Chemistry Vitros 350, Beckman Coulter Access 2, Afinion, Triage meter, Abbott ID NOW, Sophia. Reviews and reports lab results accurately. Performs maintenance, calibrations and quality control of lab analyzers. Previous experience working with RPMS/HER computer systems would be a plus.
Education and/or experience: Associates degree or equivalent experience, graduate of an accredited school of medical laboratory technician or sciences. Registered in accordance with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA and AMT or CSMLS) or being in the process of acquiring such certification.

- Must submit and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Pass background check Public Law 101-630, Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990.
- Interacts professionally with medical staff
- Have excellent customer service skills

Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist
SUMMARY: This is a part-time position, three (3) days a week, 8am-5pm. Collect blood and non-blood samples on all age groups, pediatrics through geriatrics. Process all types of laboratory specimens including centrifuging, aliquoting and proper storage of samples. Stocking supplies and maintaining a safe work environment. Assist lab technician in collection, preparing and processing samples. Other duties assigned by the lab technician.
Education and/or Experience: national certification and completion of a formal phlebotomy program; 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience and some laboratory experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Must submit and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Pass background check Public Law 101-630, Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990.
- Interacts professionally with all medical and clinical staff
- Must have excellent customer service skills and chair side manner
