Inside Sales Representative – FlagHouse, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ

We are seeking the “Right” sales candidate to join us!
This position is primarily responsible for generating revenue by building and maintaining customer relationships, through outbound telemarketing, occasional outside sales visits, exhibiting at industry trade shows, and meeting with strategic partners and professional associations. Customer base is primarily institutional, including schools, colleges, community centers, camps, government agencies, healthcare and residential facilities, hospitals, and charitable and non-profit organizations. The position carries the following duties:
Utilizes persuasive negotiating and benefits selling skills to close sales opportunities and consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Proposes and executes effective sales strategies and campaigns to grow accounts and increase revenue.
Builds and maintains key customer account relationships, responds proactively to customer needs and problems, ensures customer satisfaction.
Makes outbound phone and occasional outside field sales calls, and builds customer base and book of accounts.
Develops and delivers sales presentations to customers and prospects that illustrate the benefits of the company's product lines.
Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of the company's products and their applications to enhance sales ability, customers' satisfaction, and the end users’ experience.
Plans and conducts exhibitions of the company's products and services at industry and professional conferences and workshops.
Helps to place and organize professional presentations to showcase the company's product lines at conferences. Builds and maintains relationships with conference hosts to secure preferred placements at conferences.
Gathers, brings forward, and acts on market, competitor and customer data, research and intelligence.
Generates new sales opportunities through research and qualification of leads.
Prepares reports on trade shows and ensures follow-up of sales leads.
Collects information regarding customers' use of the company's products and services, and their testimonials, for use in marketing communications, including social media.
Identifies, qualifies, and reports on decision makers and sales opportunities within target accounts.
Interfaces and collaborates with other departments' personnel to support revenue generation, in particular Marketing, Purchasing and Inbound Sales and Service.
Services prospects and customers by providing quotes, financial arrangements, shipping arrangements and schedules.
Places orders and quotes efficiently and precisely using established order entry and customer database systems.
Makes own travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, and auto rental, consistent with company expense guidelines and budget.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years’ Sales experience
- Results-oriented individual with high personal drive, integrity and energy
- Excellent communications (written and oral)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
