Job Description At Five Rivers IT, we build and service reliable IT infrastructures for midsized businesses. Five Rivers IT has been growing at a consistent rate of 30% year over year. We are in search for a Helpdesk Support Technician to join the dynamic team of professionals providing world class IT services to its clients in the NYC metro area.
This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with a proven track record to develop, implement, and support various initiatives in the area of IT Support. Responsibilities: • Attending customer support requests via phone, email or in person. • Performing server and network troubleshooting remotely and on site • Doing application deployments • Follow change control process • Managing servers and network equipment • Document and follow procedures • Work on projects and tasks assigned in a timely manner • Be available for emergencies and scheduled tasks during off business hours • Be available for off hours on-call rotation. • On-site visits to client site as needed Qualifications: • Previous experience in IT or other related fields • Ability to build rapport with clients • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills • Positive and professional demeanor Please provide expected salary with your application.
