Role Overview

  • Recruit engineering personnel specializing in design, analysis, prototyping, powertrain and transmission development, vehicle integration, E-mobility and smart vehicles.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Systems Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Functional Safety Engineers, Technicians, Technical Specialists and Project and Program Managers.
  • Partner with Engineering Leadership to develop and execute talent strategies and drive growth; stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
  • Utilize various resources including but not limited, computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting and job boards, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
  • Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills; review and evaluate applicant qualifications; inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities.
  • Arrange interviews while ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Ensure candidate data is accurate and up to date in ATS.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Federal and State policies and laws.
  • Hire applicants and authorize paperwork assigning them to positions.

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • 5+ years of demonstrated full cycle recruiting experience in an Automotive/EV domain
  • 2 years' experience within the Engineering/Powertrain area.
  • A well-developed network within the EV industry.
  • Knowledge of engines, transmissions, hybrids, alternative energy, vehicle calibration, controls and electronics
  • Knowledge of immigration laws and requirements.
  • Experience working with LinkedIn, Monster, CareerBuilder, and other online recruiting sources
  • Ability to interface with division heads, supporting managers, and executive leadership
  • Effective persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and organization skills
  • A self-starter mindset and fantastic inter-personal skills. You will communicate well with every level of an organization.
