Our unique market position in the take-out and delivery space coupled with our expertise in sustainability are fueling incredible opportunity. The Inside Sales Representative will be entrusted and empowered with presenting Fischer products, services, and corporate values to current and prospective house account customers to expand Fischer’s business relationships and grow sales. The main areas of sales responsibility include: ownership and development of current accounts, vetting of incoming sales leads, and prospecting the acquisition of new accounts.

Essential Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Act as primary sales contact for a list of current house accounts, always representing Fischer in a positive and professional manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with direct house account customers and distribution partners
  • Travel to trade shows or key field customer visits minimum one to two days per month, at maximum three to five days (trade show season).
  • Assess prospective customers potential and route these leads (phone, email, and through the website) to their appropriate Sales Representative or Manufacturer’s Representative
  • Partner with prospective customers to understand their needs and requirements, and present Fischer’s solutions in a manner that articulates their advantages and benefits
  • Utilize Fischer’s CRM system (Salesforce) to track results of quotations, sales calls, new product opportunities, and other sales-related tasks
  • Collaborate with Fischer team members to achieve Fischer’s strategic goals

What You Need to be Successful:

  • 5 -10 years of inside sales experience
  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent education plus experience
  • Experience in foodservice industry, packaging or distribution 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Experience with Zoom or other video platforms
  • Problem solving
  • Communicating with customers via phone and/or email
  • Self-motivated & positive attitude
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to exhibit high emotional intelligence
  • Work both independently and as a team player to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions and standard accepted practices
  • Excellent time management skills
