Data Governance Program Manager (Remote)

This position is remoteeligible, but candidates must reside in our business footprint. Those states include: KY, TN, GA or AL.


Position Summary:

The position will be the primary administrative lead for roll out and management of the bank enterprise Data Governance and Data Management program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and monitor the data governance framework and coordinate the data governance committee and working groups
• Maintain and communicate data management policy, charter, and data standards
• Drive compliance with data policy and data standards and ensure data management practices comply with all regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable standards and regulations

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

• College degree in computer science, business administration, finance, or relevant technical, data governance or regulatory compliance experience
• 8+ years of experience in either data governance, risk management, audit, regulatory compliance, or equivalent relevant work experience within a regulated financial services company
• Experience with data governance and data management and working familiarity of DCAM or similar industry best practice standards
• Prior administrative experience as a scrum master, program manager, supervisor, manager, or project leader

Skills and Abilities:

• Prior project management leadership and/or application of Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated leadership in executing plans successfully to accomplish strategic goals and objectives
• Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills to include PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Self-directed and self-driven with the ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving capabilities
• Data Analysis capabilities to include Data Profiling, Data Quality and Frequency Distribution
• Working technical expertise with SQL/SAS/Python
• Prior Jack Henry system experience a plus
