Learning & Development Program Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Learning & Development Program Manager who has experience with training design and organizational training standards. In this role you will represent the Learning & Development team on enterprise projects to assess, align, develop and implement training and programs that align with the organization’s strategic goals. Qualified candidates will have proven ability to build consensus with stakeholders who have varying requirements and deliver training outcomes on multiple large scale projects.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with EPMO and the Organization Change Program Manager to consider multiple stakeholder points-of-view and make rapid, informed decisions to best support employee readiness outcomes
  • Partner and collaborate with Communications on employee readiness efforts to deliver seamless communication and learning experiences
  • Subject matter expert in training design, trainer development, and organizational training standards
  • Understand the operations of the credit union and cross-departmental impacts
  • Track multiple simultaneous enterprise projects and partner with EPMO to address change impacts and learning needs
  • Act as strategic partner by identifying and analyzing data measuring training outcomes, work with Training Specialists to implement program changes indicated by data, and measure ROI of training activities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on enterprise projects, process improvement initiatives, and new product and service deployments
  • Partner with Business Unit Trainers to ensure role clarity and provide alignment and insights

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years experience in enterprise program management. Financial industry experience with expert understanding of financial products, functions, and processes is preferred
  • Ability to accurately customize presentations and discussions of training initiatives for all audiences, including executives, management and individual contributors
  • Experience utilizing adult learning best practices, instructional design models, and instructional design processes to develop and deliver high quality learning activities
  • Intermediate data analysis and causative/correlative evaluation skills
  • Demonstrate leadership without authority and build consensus with stakeholders who have varying requirements
  • Experience with e-learning design software, learning management systems, and multi-modal learning
  • Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources, including subject matter experts, project managers,  all levels of management, training materials, and online help content
  • Ability to track deliverables for multiple simultaneous projects while collaborating with stakeholders, communicating clearly, and punctually delivering on action items
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, other related fields of study or equivalent experience
  • Certification/License: Change Management Certification preferred
