We are seeking a Program Director to work directly with the Chief Executive Officer for a well-respected Community Based Clinic in Auburn Park.  The Program Director will be responsible for managing and executing planning activities, risk management activities, completion and expansion of various operational and clinical effectiveness and improvement programs.  The Program Director will also assist with overseeing site-visits, human resources tasks—including processing performance evaluations. The Program Director will work with the leadership team in development/review of policies and procedures, ensuring that the health center executes various programs, ensuring that goals/objectives are implemented, monitored, and evaluated per program requirements, and participate in QA/QI activities. Participates on various committees and attends meetings as directed by CEO.  Excellent Career Growth opportunity in a highly visible position.  Base Salary is $75,000-$90,000 (Depending Upon Experience) with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, 401K and great advancement potential.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • The Program Director will collaborate with leadership throughout all phases of each program including appropriate transition requirements to ensure implementation, outcomes, and sustainability of all programs


  • The Program Director leads the coordination and oversight for all programs, insuring starting on-time, goals/objectives, development of policies and procedures, ensures outcomes are achieved, various reports are developed, and ensure compliance with various grant requirements. Monitor and track work activities, program activities, and ensures tasks are completely in a timely manner and reported to the CEO and leadership team


  • The Program Director will interact with all leadership, multidisciplinary team, and stakeholders regarding the programs.


  • The Program Director requires the ability to schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results.


  • Ensures the overall coordination of assigned programs as directed by QA/QI leadership, along with Support administrative/QA/QI team, and leadership on departmental goals and tasks as directed.


  • Lead and communicate effectively across multiple levels of organizational staff from front line to senior leaders


  • Align all educational efforts for current and future operational/clinical improvement programs to provide ongoing support for programs such as Maintenance of Certifications, licenses, Risk Management activities, and Quality Improvement activities


  • Conduct risk management activities keeping the CEO and leadership team abreast of all activities and outcome. Providing monthly, quarterly and annual reports/action plans, and follow up per task and as needed


  • Collaborate with the CEO, CMO, CFO, Director of Clinical Affairs, and Health Center Administrator on strategic planning and program expansion


  • Analyze pre and post data for measurement and analysis for all assigned programs


  • Manage accurate project plans to ensure timely completion of activities as designed


  • Collaborate with leadership on timelines and expectations to ensure successful outcomes


  • Lead, develop, and execute all detailed work plans, communication, schedules, resource requirements and status reports for all assigned programs


  • Demonstrate effective issue resolution and conflict management skills throughout the process to ensure the programs continue to move forward


  • Utilize effective communication skills to keep the program teams, leadership team, directors, and managers informed of program status. Highlight any issues/barriers with possible solution plans and ability to measure the programs as they continue to grow


  • Responsible for the execution of expanding the programs when applicable under CEO directives

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Knowledge of:

  • Ability to develop and implement organizational policies and procedures, systems, and goals and objectives skills
  • Fiscal management and human resource management techniques
  • Health care administration systems knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to effectively lead in a changing environment
  • Exceptional communication and engagement skills
  • Knowledgeable of Governmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledgeable of computer systems and applications.


Skills in:

  • Planning, organizing, prioritizing, delegating and supervising, exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision-making.
  • Identifying and resolving problems.
  • Development and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public.
  • Developing comprehensive reports..
  • Developing and maintaining Health Center’s administrative quality improvement tasks.


Ability to:

  • Analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Anticipate and react calmly in emergency situations


Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be a self-starter and proven record of building patient capacity.



Master’s degree in health, business, public service or master’s degree in nursing.



3-5 years of program and operational management, and leadership in community health care.
