Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing clinic operations. Supervises the health center’s managers and Facilities Maintenance. Serves as liaison for IT team. Assists CEO in developing and implementing the clinic's strategic long-and short-range plans and its business plan. Works closely with the CEO in forecasting and preparing annual budget and financial statements. Administers all Credentialing and Privileging of Providers. Represents clinic and interacts with regulatory agencies, insurance carriers, and other professional and community groups. Ensures adherence to all safety standards in our Clinics.Assist with organizational compliance with State, Federal and local agencies. Delegates authority and responsibility to department heads. Develops improved management techniques and practices. Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment and high quality patient care. Assists CEO in maintaining positive community relations and serves as liaison with other staff and the public. Resolves operational problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high productivity. Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Directs and supervises staff members concerning effective and efficient operations of the program and the facility.

Master's degree preferred

Minimum of five years of administrative/health center management experience; Familiarity with applicable Federal, State, County and City health programs. Native American health issues, grants, contracts, and legislation including programs of other agencies and departments involved.

Demonstrated experience in managing numerous employees in various departments and levels of experience.

Demonstrated experience in working with a diverse urban population.
