Customer Service Representative Job Summary

Looking for a reliable and hardworking Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to join our busy auto body shop. Our focus is on providing exceptional service and high-quality workmanship to our customers.

Customer Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer phones and take detailed messages
• Booking clients in for work
• Create customer files as new assignments are received
• Respond to emails in a timely manner
• Process customer payments
• Answer customer inquiries or direct customers to appropriate personnel
• Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and customer waiting area
• Perform various clerical and administrative duties as requested
• Daily check on vehicle arrivals and departures
• Acting as the communication hub for the business

Customer Service Representative Requirements and Qualifications

• Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills and customer service, including written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team
• Previous experience in a reception/customer service role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
• Professional appearance & friendly disposition
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to provide references
• Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Legally able to work in the United States
• At least a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two (2) or more years of experience
