Pay rate range: $65,000 - $75,000!

Job Summary:

This is a resource management role responsible for managing the end-to-end process from inquiry to the submission of proposals to potential customers. This includes preparing estimates and writing formal proposals in a timely manner.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities will be:

1. Review Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents to determine the scope of work on various projects including Field Repair, Construction, and Installation.
2. Review technical specifications.
3. Prepare multi-discipline labor and material estimates.
4. Prepare bill of material for solicitation of quotations for materials as required.
5. Coordinate with Sales, Engineering and Procurement as required for preparation of the estimate.
6. Conduct bid reviews.
7. Maintain estimating metrics.
8. Manage the review and approval process for all bids.
9. Participate in bid / no-bid meetings.
10. Review proposal strategy with management.
11. Reviews commercial and technical sections of RFQ's.
12. Prepare proposals for submittal to client.
13. Ensure proper hand off to Operations for successful project execution.

Your Professional Experience Should Be:

1. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
2. Strong Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs
3. Familiarity of codes and standards for pipe, structural steel, and pressure vessels
4. Multi-disciplined estimating skills with pipe and structural steel.
5. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical and commercial sections of RFQ's.
7. Excellent planning and organization skills
8. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
9. 2+ years in related experience

Preferred Education & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent job experience.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require:

1. Must be able to remain sitting for prolonged periods of time.
2. Must be able to do occasional lifting to 35lbs as regular daily activities.
