SUMMARY: Asset Resolution Analyst

The position of Asset Resolution Analyst supports the Asset Resolution Group through borrower/guarantor financial analysis, project feasibility and collateral assessment, net present value modeling, and charge-off/loss share claim processing. This is a results-oriented position requiring solutions which adhere to strict regulatory compliance.


The option of working remote will be considered for this position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Possesses working knowledge of Purchase and Assumption Agreements between Bank and FDIC.
  • Analyzes borrower/guarantor tax returns and financial statements for preparation of global cash flows and pertinent ratios.
  • Evaluates financial condition for proper transaction structure, collateral analysis, Risk Grade, and Accrual Status.
  • Must possess creative thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Assertive, results driven, self-motivated with ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects.
  • Must be able to effectively interact with the Loss Share Accounting Department.
  • Must be willing and able to work under tight time constraints with limited information.
  • Effectively deals with Bank examiners.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  • Completes annual compliance courses.
  • Adheres specifically to all corporate policies and procedures. Also adheres to Federal and State regulations and laws; including, the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
  • Adheres to all levels of our Service Excellence standards.
  • Performs other duties as required.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: Asset Resolution Analyst

Knowledge & Experience: These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics or similar field; 0-5 years of related experience and/or training in credit analysis.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Bank operations, products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operational policies and procedures.
  • Commercial Underwriting and Moody's Analytics experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with effective interpersonal and relationship management skills to engage individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Must possess strong credit and financial analytical skills.
  • Assertive, results driven, self-motivated with ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: Vision, hearing, speech, dexterity, visual concentration. A valid driver’s license is required. Must have the ability to stand, walk, sit and use hands and fingers. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The environment is a professional office with standard office equipment.
