What we ask of you:

  • Be eager to grow and embrace accountability

  • Execute quickly--experiment and embrace learning from your failures

  • Contribute to both culture and revenue

  • Have 1-3 years of escrow experience, including familiarity with the escrow process and a basic understanding of title insurance

  • Demonstrate your customer service/ problem-solving skills

As a Title Processor, your typical day may include:

  • Coordinating and communicating with everyone involved in a transaction, gathering data and resolving problems

  • Ensuring customer expectations are met and fears eased by working closely with our other teams

  • Helping customers understand the closing process, mitigating their stress--and ours

  • Supporting the Escrow Officer and the Production Team in any way you can

  • Helping the Communications Team create great customer experiences

  • Evaluating the efficiency of the escrow processing function and making recommendations for improvement

  • Ordering mortgage and judgment payoffs, lien releases, utility account status reports, escrow letters, etc.

  • Handing off to the Escrow Officer a well-organized, clean and beautiful package, ready for closing

To land this gig, you need to have some experience in helping other people solve problems. It doesn't need to be specifically escrow-related customer service experience: we have a former bank teller and ex-donor coordinator in our ranks. Internships, volunteer work, and side projects count. Just make sure we can see where you picked up your helping-people super powers somewhere in your cover letter or resume.
