Description Position at Fingerpaint Associate Director, Social MediaWe're looking for an experienced insights-driven social media strategist to join our team. This role will report to the Head of Media Strategy, working collaboratively across our full-service agency. This role will be instrumental in setting the vision, strategy, and implementation for the social media team and our clients.
This person will work with stakeholders in multiple capabilities (creative, digital strategy, analytics, media, and brand strategy) to craft social media strategies, implement content, organic, and paid recommendations, and establish best practices for the agency.Responsibilities: Lead overall strategy development, execution, management and optimizations, and analytics and reporting for all elements of social media for pharmaceutical and health & wellness clients, including content creation, social listening, influencer partnerships and content dyndication, paid advertising, community management, and Lead client partnership and provide oversight and direction to internal teams (creative, digital strategy/analytics, media, brand strategy) for social media best practices and implementation of approved client strategies Oversee all management of campaigns, including organic engagement, content calendars, and paid performance on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit Establish campaign KPIs and track, report, and analyze performance insights in relation to owned, earned, and paid initiatives to inform future strategic planning, platform selection, targeting, and content/CTAs Lead innovation and enhance Fingerpaint's social media function keeping up to date with social media trends in design, applications, best practices, strategy, and innovation, including FDA regulations and processes, providing POVs and feasibility analyses for clients on emerging platforms and technologies, and communicating platform changes to clients with all necessary implications and recommendations Grow social media business by educating internal and client teams on the value of social media and identifying opportunities for their unique business needs Leverage social listening tools to develop content strategies, analyze competition, and identify audience segments Collaborate with content producers by providing audience insights and platform best practices and specs, and outlining campaign communication objectives to guide creative messaging Produce social media listening reports and ongoing monitoring of an organization/brand's competitor's social campaigns, and provide actionable insights to internal teams and clients, including adjusting messaging based on analyses Manage a team of social media managers who manage the day-to-day of social media accounts and paid campaigns, overseeing flighting, budgets, targeting, and optimizationsKnow-how: 6+ years experience in social media strategy, including paid management, social content strategy, organic, profile management, and analytics across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Reddit Familiarity with regulated industries and how social media is utilized within the pharmaceutical category Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills to draw actionable insights and recommendations from social media performance and engagement Ability to manage a team and to partner with individuals across functions to articulate strategies and best practices thoughtfully and to the point
