SUMMARY OF THE ROLEThe Sales Engineer - Consulting Services is responsible for facilitating sales and renewals of (1) Digital Marketing Services (DMS), encompassing SEO, digital advertising, and social media; (2) Finalsite Advantage, a comprehensive marketing & enrollment strategy consulting offering, and (3) Virtual Webmaster. This role is an integral part of the sales team that helps to qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners. The CSSE acts as a liaison between sales and the Consulting Services team for deeper technical assistance and to help prioritize features based on input from customers, competitors, and partners.

Additional responsibilities may develop, e.g., development and delivery of website analytics services; management of internal KPI tracking.
LOCATION100% Remote - Anywhere within the US or UK.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support sales representatives in the sales process for Consulting Services
  • Develop and maintain a streamlined/automated renewal process for existing projects
  • Proactively engage and communicate with prospects and Finalsite business/technical teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape.
  • Use in-depth product knowledge and technical skills to suggest and potentially develop product solutions for prospects.
  • Manage and maintain competitor intelligence.
  • Maintain accurate notes and feedback in Salesforce regarding customer input, both wins and losses.
  • Lead efforts via documentation and training to empower sales representatives to identify DMS opportunities and to close them independently
  • Work with the VP of Revenue Enablement to provide feedback and suggest efficiencies in the pre-sales process.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • A Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience is required. Degree in a marketing, communications, or technology discipline preferred
  • Experience in digital marketing (e.g., SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads) is required; certification in one or more of the following: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads
  • Must be proficient in the GSuite family of office applications
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Data Studio preferred
  • Must be available on a US-based work day schedule with occasional international calls outside of this window
  • Must be able to think independently, make decisions, and adapt to changing conditions
  • Must be willing to collaborate across departments, with clients, and with vendors
  • Must possess high integrity with regard to the client’s interests.
