Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle for a Detroit, Michigan based Dental Service Organization! You will be responsible for helping our executive team establish and develop systems that ensure we maximize the effective management and profitability of our company.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the approval process for all loans and lines of credit
  • Provide strategic guidance and analysis of Revenue Cycle service line
  • Develops and establishes broad scale, long-term business objectives, goals, and projects.  Develops and formulates performance measures and standards for revenue cycle services 
  • Regularly provides leadership with revenue cycle business development status including reports, metrics and presentations 
  • Develops, monitors and assesses business metrics to refine processes and improve efficiencies
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Create, track, measure and report KPI’s for all member practices
  • Oversee seamless onboarding and integration of newly acquired practices 
  • Build, lead and develop a high performing team
  • Organize and centralize key functions at regional and corporate levels

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years leadership experience in multi-location dental/healthcare revenue cycle management
  • Advanced degree (MBA) preferred but will consider relevant industry success in lieu of
  • Proven track record of creation and implementation of growth and profitability through proven RCM policies and procedures 
  • Demonstrated success in implementing RCM process, including centralizing activities in-house and among vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to create short and long-term strategic plans, KPI’s and forecasts while delivering strong financial results
  • Strong track record of creating and leading a collaborative, highly productive work environment with a relentless focus on providing exceptional performance 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels within the organization
  • Possess a strong, intrinsic drive to be successful
  • Ability to balance speed and decisiveness with quality of decisions
  • Must be detail-oriented with an ability to tackle complex assignments
