Pediatric Neurology Physician

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM outpatient clinic hours
• There are currently four (4) Neurologists in the practice with two (2) further north
• Inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMN) in place at the hospital - general Neurology call is 1:5 – split between neurologists
• Inpatient rounding (avg census 5-6), all consults and after-hour calls
• Typically, no outpatient clinic when on call for patients and ED - split “Mommy Call” for all the providers and ED call
• Procedures include Lumbar Punctures, Botox, and EEG – options for sleep
• Follow-up patients get about 30 minutes while new patients get about 45 minutes to 1 hour
• You will get ½ day of admin time per week plus time to read EEGs
• Collaborate with pediatric neurosurgeons and all other pediatric neurology sub-specialists
• EMG, Evoked Response, NMR, Angiogram, Spinal Tap, lumbar punctures, spasticity injections
• Pediatric residency program affiliated with Stanford University – options for some teaching

• Job Requirements: Physician with MD/DO degree – Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible with valid medical license
