Job Description

Fidé is currently seeking an RN with Emergency Room experience for a 13-week contract in New York, NY.

○ Description:

■ New York Health and Hospital is looking for highly organized, compassionate candidates to work as ER nurses. ER nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained, among other duties.

○ Responsibilities:

■ Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness

■ Immediately stabilize incoming patients

■ Administer medication as instructed by physicians

■ Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones

■ Perform tracheotomies and intubations

■ Give patients stitches and sutures

■ Create and maintain incoming patient records

■ Work with a team of emergency staff to help patients

■ Help transfer stable patients to other wings

○ Requirements:

Current NY RN License
Primary Source Verification - Required
IV Experience - Required
TNCC - Required
Current AHA BLS
Current AHA ACLS
Current AHA PALS

Night shift 3x12
