Fern, a leading provider of tradeshow, convention, and event services is seeking a highly motivated person to represent the company as a Transportation Administrator in our Fern Transportation Division. Position is designed to ensure timely billing, collections and accounts payable for both Fern Transportation and Freedom Shipping. The administrator will handle Fern Transportation accounts payable to our vendors: YRC, PGL, Adcom, GlobalTranz, etc. and assist our Fern Transportation Manager.

General Responsibilities:

To provide the Fern Transportation team with administrative support:

· Billing –lead the show close process for all Shipping Orders

· Lead Collections efforts

· Fern Trans Accounts Payable

Education/Experience:

· College Degree preferred, not required.

· AS400 experience preferred, not required

· Accounting Experience preferred, not required

· Tradeshow experience preferred, not required.

Skills/Competencies:

· Detail oriented

· Computer Skills (Microsoft Office/Excel)

· Ability to work with little supervision

· Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivables experience preferred

· Collections experience preferred

Special Considerations:

· Job allows a Flexible Work Schedule, so long as basic deadlines are met

· 15-20 hours per week. Work from Home

· Communicate weekly availability to Manager 2 weeks in advance
