Highlights of the position:

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers by addressing, investigating, and resolving problems and complaints regarding products, shipments, billing, etc. and make recommendations to maintain customer goodwill.

Monitors customer demand to ensure on time delivery. Addresses and resolves problems with customer shipments in a seamless and expedient manner.

Interfaces with production and other functional departments as necessary to ensure production planning supports on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements.

Confers with production and engineering to develop, implement, and manage new parts and supplies of new product launches.

Collaborates with department managers to discuss possible constraints and recommendations to improve customer service levels.

Establishes and maintains strong ongoing relationships with suppliers to ensure adequate delivery and quality of material are met.

Monitors domestic & international receiving and shipping operations between facilities, customers, and suppliers. Ensure they are cost effective and efficient, and where there are shortfalls make recommendations and an action plan for improvement.

Manages Felss owned consumable & returnable packaging supplies to ensure availability for production and logistics to support customer demand.

Ensures timely follow-up on urgent or past due raw material and packaging purchase orders and expedites material, as necessary, to meet production needs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma with bachelor's degree preferred.
3 to 5 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
Self-directed with high energy level and ability to stay calm under stress.
Strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask, meet schedules, deadlines and performance goals including resetting priorities in a fast paced and changing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal and ability to develop positive relationships.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel and experience with ERP Systems.
Very adaptable, responds effectively to changes in situation or information, has ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skills.
