Intern - Transportation Planning

FHU is currently looking for a summer intern to join us in our Denver, Colorado office working on transportation planning projects by assisting with the following:

• technical analyses and written documentation as a part of teams working on projects
• multi-modal transportation plans for cities and counties, corridor studies, transit development plans, bicycle and pedestrian plans, and environmental assessments
• conducting research into various transportation planning topics
• client and stakeholder meetings and presentations in a supporting role

Requirements

Internship Qualifications

• Graduate or upper-level undergraduate student in Urban/Regional Planning or related field
• Strong computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Available for 3-month time-frame

Preferred Skills

• Previous coursework and demonstrated interest in transportation planning

Salary starting at $20.00 an hour.
