Registered Nurse

Responsibilities: Assumes responsibility for nursing care for young adult through geriatric group home individuals with chronic mental illness; provides generalized and specialized care; maintains appropriate records; functions as a member of interdisciplinary team and performs related work as required. Oversees the maintenance of medical records and compliance with state regulations and CARF. Exercises independent nursing judgment.
Qualifications: Qualified by an approved school of nursing program or baccalaureate of higher degree in nursing and licensed by the state, commonwealth, or territory to practice nursing. Two years’ experience providing direct clinical services to adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse is preferred. Newly licensed candidates will be considered after comprehensive review of training, experience, and demonstrated competence. Medical experience is preferred.
Schedule: 8 hours per week. Hours may vary.
