To provide leadership, individual and group counseling in therapeutic setting designed to serve young adults through geriatric individuals and substance abuse individuals with chronic mental illness to achieve social, economic, emotional, and personal independence.
Qualifications: Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, counseling, rehabilitative counseling, substance abuse counseling, social work, or closely related discipline. A minimum of two years counseling experience working with chronic mentally ill adult population. Licensed practitioner of the Healing Arts is preferred. Spanish/Portuguese speaking a plus.
Knowledge of Diagnostic & Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders and its clinical application; knowledge and practice of well established accepted practices and evidence based clinical intervention methods and their appropriate applications (i.e., Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, on call, occasional weekends
