Responsibilities: To provide brief assessment and intervention within a detention center setting, in order to address the mental health and substance needs of those involved with the criminal justice system.
Qualifications: LCSW, or LPC in the State of North Carolina is required. No LCAS only, or associate licenses will be considered. Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, or closely related discipline. Forensic/correctional experience is required, and two years of individual and group counseling experience working with chronic mentally ill adult population, and experience working with individuals who have substance use disorders. Dual license of LPC or LCSW with LCAS is preferred but no stand alone LCAS licenses will be considered.
Schedule: 30hrs/week Rotating weekend and Holiday schedule is required. M-F 8a-4p or 8:30a-4:30p. Weekend and Holiday schedule is 8a-4p.
