Responsibilities: To provide leadership, individual, family and group counseling in the community designed to serve young adults through geriatric aged individuals with mental illness to facilitate recovery and achieve social, economic, emotional, and personal independence. Therapist to provide CBT, DBT, MI, Interpersonal Therapy depending on needs.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Education – Counseling, Rehabilitative Counseling, Social Work, or closely related discipline. A minimum of 2 years counseling experience working with adults with chronic mental illness, and experience working with people who have substance abuse.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm ** This is a community-based program where most of the therapeutic work is done in either the community or at the client's residence. ACT model uses a team approach to help individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
