The Sales Team at FeedonomicsThe Feedonomics Sales Team is the conduit of every dollar of revenue and nearly every client. We are 100% remote around all U.S. time zones, and 3 countries and we sell 3 different product lines to new and existing clients. In this journey, we ally with Sales Engineering, SalesOps, Global Operations, Marketing, Product, and Accounting to ensure we are putting our best effort with every client we take on. The RoleThe Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for achieving monthly sales revenue targets while exemplifying the Feedonomics Core Values. This role is responsible for achieving monthly sales revenue targets with a dual focus on 1) new business and 2) creating relationships and acting as a lead point of contact with a book of existing clients.
This role reports directly to the Director of Sales.
The ResponsibilitiesThe SAE is responsible for achieving monthly sales revenue targets with a dual focus on generating new business and building and maintaining relationships with the following goals:
- Generating New Business
- Achieving monthly sales revenue targets with a focus on new business and developing and closing new opportunities into an existing book of business
- Develops and maintains a relationship with a book of existing customers and develops new opportunities while acting in a trusted advisor relationship. This role develops long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- Build a successful book of business
- Identifying new sales opportunities through networking
- Managing the sales cycle with a focus on the client experience
- Making actionable and insightful prospect recommendations aligned with Feedonomics offerings
- Presenting products to prospects
- Share the Feedonomics story and demonstrate the value behind each of Feedonomics product and service offerings.
- Provide in-depth demos of the Feedonomics platform
- Speak to Feedonomics solutions that specifically address the needs of the client
- Developing proposals for each client unique to that client’s need and the available product and service offerings
- Negotiating agreements with clients to find the balance between the client's needs and Feedonomics ability to support that need
- Building Relationships
- Acting as a lead point of contact for their accounts
- Developing strong relationships with clients
- Connecting with key decision-makers, executives and stakeholders
- Identify and close opportunities within their managed account base.
- Delivering on Exceptional Client Communication
- This role prepares regular reports and reviews of the client account.
- Makes regular contact with clients based on needs and established expectations.
- Collaborating Internally
- Liaise with internal teams to improve the customer experience
- Ensure the timely delivery of our solutions according to client needs
- Qualifications and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Competent understanding of the sales cycle and client relationship management
- Experience Required
- Prior experience prospecting and managing a book of business strongly preferred
- 3 years prior experience in Enterprise, SaaS, or technology sales
- Prior experience in the digital marketing space strongly preferred
- Knowledge/Skills
- Customer-focused - takes a consultative approach to selling while delivering on the Feedonomics experience
- Passionate and driven to succeed, not scared of bringing new ideas to the table
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially over the phone, webcam and via email
- Sets and resets expectations to achieve the best outcomes and most positive experience for all
