Feeding Children Everywhere (FCE) is a non-profit organization that ‘activates people for a hunger-free world’.  To date, FCE has distributed over 116 million meals to hungry people across the globe and has mobilized over 750,000 volunteers. 

The organization focuses efforts around addressing hunger and the root causes.  The program vehicles include:

  • Hunger Projects - high energy corporate, church or civic social responsibility events that mobilize thousands of volunteers across the US to hand-package healthy meals for hungry people

  • Full Cart - a meal delivery service for hard working individuals and families to extend their grocery budget and connect them with life-changing career resources

  • Disaster Relief - a program that activates people to package disaster relief meal kits in immediate response to natural disasters 

  • International Development - community transformation projects that include the improvement of education, agriculture, women’s health initiatives and economic development

  • Micro-Farming - community farming efforts that make nutrient rich foods accessible in food deserts

If the idea of having a hands on internship while learning the distribution and warehouse management behind a non-profit sounds like the perfect balance of labor and administration, this role may be perfect for you! This position is crucial for ensuring that procurement and food product are complete for each Hunger Project nationwide. In this role you will help to represent our meal product and material which includes connecting with our vendors and feeding partners, as well as with potential donors to coordinate donation of goods. This position ensures that product and inventory are ready for each Hunger Project nationwide and new product is sustainably sourced for our expanding meal options at Feeding Children Everywhere. There are opportunities to see the ins-and-outs of inventory, purchasing, shipping, distribution, and warehouse management.


First and foremost, activating, empowering, and connecting with PEOPLE

  • Office and warehouse management

  • Procurement of Hunger Project materials

  • Shipping, distribution, and coordination of goods and products

  • Coordinate customs documents for exports/imports

  • Food safety & sanitation

  • Vendor Relationship Management

  • Financial planning, purchasing, and Budgeting for future meals and meal kit services

  • Loading/unloading shipments

  • Maintaining & tracking inventory

  • Assisting with the fulfillment attached to packaging millions of healthy meals for hungry people

  • Tracking financial expenses

    • Evaluating purchase request forms to ensure fiscal responsibility 

  •  Supporting & traveling to Hunger Project

    • Pre event logistics & post event sanitation of products
