Fedcap, Inc., a Fedcap program, in Washington, D.C. is looking to hire a full-time Operations Manager to oversee our Workforce Development contract with the District of Columbia's Department of Human Services (DHS), including our Job Placement program and our Education and Occupational Training program. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OPERATIONS MANAGER

As our Operations Manager, you oversee and manage all operational areas, including timekeeping, billing, facilities, and reception. You ensure proper and accurate daily timekeeping as well as manage the distribution, collection, and billing of stipends and incentives for our customers. Working with our IT team, you maintain the proper function of our databases, computers, printers, and other equipment.

To keep our finances in order, you make sure audits and invoices are submitted to the district accurately and on-time. You also oversee the ordering, distribution, and billing of work-related expenses and office supplies. Working with our facilities and maintenance teams, you ensure proper building upkeep so that our building is always clean and inviting. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OPERATIONS MANAGER

  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, human resources, education, or a related field
  • 3+ years of management experience or comparable work-related experience
  • Covid-19 vaccination
