Position Title Educational Attainment Collaborative Project Manager Announcement Summary

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this grant funded position. The ability to effectively lead the management and implementation of the local cross-sector educational attainment collaborative to ensure progress in obtaining local educational attainment goals is critical to experiencing success in this position. Expertise in effectively communicating information and providing excellent customer service is essential. Serve as the primary point of contact for local partners serving on the collaborative and for the statewide myFutureNC organization.

Collaborate with the Core Team Members and Lead Organizations to develop, plan, and organize project management activities associated with Education Attainment initiative and other grant supported work of the College.

Maintain a clear focus on catalyzing and supporting local-level, cross-sector attainment and talent development initiatives aligned with the labor market needs in the collaborative's region.

Ensure priorities and strategies are identified to reach local attainment goals and monitor impact and progress of implemented strategies by using data and through the convening of local cross-sector partners.

Actively participate in a statewide myFutureNC network of Local Educational Attainment Collaborative (CCLEAC) project managers leveraging the network to disseminate effective practices implemented locally and to learn and bring back promising practices from other collaboratives so that they may be replicated locally, if appropriate.

Lead the CCLEAC efforts to convene, align, engage and drive awareness with key local partners to inspire a deep commitment and action to improving attainment.

Foster collaboration, alignment and postsecondary prioritization across local education, workforce, and economic development sectors to facilitate alignment in support of CCLEAC and myFutureNC attainment and talent development priorities.

Identify, map, and support partners who are leading existing & emerging initiatives.

Share effective practices, lessons learned, and recommendations with the myFutureNC statewide network of local educational attainment collaborative project managers.

Share effective practices identified from participation in the statewide network with CCLEAC for replication locally, where applicable.

Establish and leverage funding relationships at the local level supportive of cross-sector attainment goals and high impact strategies identified by the CCLEAC.

The CCLEAC Project Manager will support alignment of efforts by facilitating the convening and coordination of work of a local cross-functional team towards a desired outcome that ultimately leads to increased educational attainment.

Maintain on-going communications with cross-sector partners engaged in the CCLEAC to ensure buy-in, commitment, and successful progress of the collaborative and identified strategies and priorities.

Facilitate strategic dialogues with local cross-sector stakeholders to: establish a plan of action to identify key issues, develop potential solutions, and implement plans to deliver targeted outcomes.

Identify local strategic initiatives that are or will create attainment impact by collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance collective impact in accordance with short and long-term objectives identified by local collaborative.

Prepare and submit grant status and/or impact reports and other related information to both internal and external stakeholders.

Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors' degree from an accredited college in Business Administration or related field of study with extensive managing complex education and workforce development projects with Three to five years of experience in the field of education and/or workforce development.

Preferred Requirements

Master's degree in Business Administration or other related field from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, statistics, organization behavior or behavioral sciences.

Five plus years in building strategic partnerships in education and workforce development and engagement in economically challenged communities and demonstrated project management capabilities. Extensive project management experience in education and workforce development in North Carolina preferred.
